Announcing January 2010 product enhancements

New and improved functionality is now available to Acuvent customers with the January 2010 upgrade.

This upgrade release offers customers a variety of other improvements including:

  • New event marketing method - visitors can now subscribe to news and updates about your event/s using Acuvent's new RSS Feed features
  • Use the new "Pending Registration" status to enhance the management of abstract submissions and registration for events such as course that are always heavily over-subscribed
  • The addition of an "FAQ" page that allows organisers to publish commonly asked questions and answers about the event
  • Specify advanced "answer formats" for registration questions and custom fields
  • Schedule Acuvent to automatically remind registrants of outstanding payments and those participants who've not yet completed their online post-event survey/evaluation
  • A range of new email marketing features including subscription list management
  • For guest and table registration, optionally allow registrants to state how many guests rather than requiring entry of all names
  • Schedule Acuvent to send reminders and updates about specific sessions they have registered for
  • Many new features in Acuvent's "Custom Report Writer"

Acuvent is available securely over the internet (Software as a Service) so Acuvent customers can immediately take advantage of the improvements without the need to perform software upgrades.  

All of our customers' existing events will continue to operate as they did prior to the upgrade - no new features are forced - they can be turned on when Customers wish to use them.
